Designed by George Cobb, a world renowned golf architect and former Marine, Paradise Point Golf Course has two golf courses, the Scarlet and the Gold. The Scarlet is an 18-hole course with par of 70 and the Gold is an 18-hole course with par of 72. There are two driving ranges, three putting greens, a practice field and a snack bar on the premises. If you would like to improve your game, resident Class A PGA Professionals offer private lessons for all skill levels. History buffs will enjoy the numerous plaques that have been placed around the course identifying various historical sites on or near Paradise Point. For example, when the 12th hole was rebuilt 100 yards west of its original location, archaeologists discovered an American Indian burial ground. This area is now enclosed by a white fence and is designated and registered as a historical site. The Paradise Point Pro Shop offers a full line of golf clubs, apparel, shoes, hats and golf balls. Green fees at this course range from $28 to $30.
